The parameters for this conceptual project was to create a full-page magazine advertisement for a flagship spirit, White Gold Rum, for a well-funded new Michigan start-up, Commodore Distillery. I had to create the packaging for this product as well as a magazine advertisement that fits the branding of the product.

Inspired by the nature and atmosphere of Michigan, the packaging for this rum is inspired by the cherries that are grown in Michigan, and the rich landscapes that you can find all across the state. Using a gold leaf and white accents ties into the name of White Gold Rum and fits nicely with the deep richness of the maroon color used in the packaging.
